Carlo Munier (1859-1911). Composer for mandolin music. He lived and worked in Florence. He was the personal mandolin teacher of Queen Margherita di Savoia , who had a great passion for the mandolin. The “valzer” is an original and very refined composition for an orchestra of plucked instruments. The name “cantabile” means that there is a melodic part in it which imitates the human voice.
