Raffaele Calace (1863-1934). Composer and excellent luthier. He is an important figure in the history of the mandolin and its ensembles. The “Bolero” is a danse of Spanish origin from the 18th century. It brings out the qualities of timbre and the technical refinement of the plucked instruments.
